As a trustee, I will focus on supporting and advocating for Cabrillo faculty, staff, and students. Together, we must prepare our students for the challenges of the future while ensuring responsible stewardship of college resources and strengthening Cabrillo’s ties to our community.

 

My commitment to Cabrillo runs deep. For more than 12 years, I have been a member of the Cabrillo College Foundation, where I currently serve as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. I am also on the Student Scholarship Committee and was a founding member and co-chair of the Women’s Educational Success program. In 2007 I was awarded the Meritorious Service Award for Exceptional Service and Dedication to Cabrillo College.

 

As the daughter of two educators, I understand the transformative power of learning and believe every student deserves access to a quality education and the resources needed to succeed. I am committed to bringing my experience, dedication, and community perspective to the Cabrillo College Board of Trustees.

Professionally, I founded Network Mortgage in 1997. As a business woman in Santa Cruz county, I have always given back to the community. Network Mortgage donated a portion of all earnings to local nonprofits. 

​

I have been a board member of of the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, Friends of Long Marine Laboratory, and El Pajaro Community Development Corporation. Having benefited from living in Santa Cruz County for 40 years, I remain deeply committed to serving the needs of our community today and in the future.
